G&I Constructions Ltd implement their health and safety strategy by carrying out and maintaining the following:
- 100% of Site Staff & Management Staff are CSCS (Trade Specific) Certified.
- Awarded Certificates in:
- Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
- Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme
- IPAF Trained (International Powered Access Federation)
- Advising clients on safety by design implemented at construction design stage with regards to the scope of works G&I are to undertake.
- Regular inspections by an independent H&S officer to update and advise the G&I team of current health & safety legislation and practices, whilst refreshing staff on safe working practices.
On all contracts a Project Plan is prepared which a includes a detailed Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Manual Handling Assessment, COSHH Assessment and Quality Plan. From this any project-specific H&S training is identified and carried out.
